Flooring Project Highlights
Live Hospital Environment
This work was completed without closure of the entrance – a challenging job given the amount of foot traffic each day
We worked out an elaborate around-the-clock schedule with the hospital staff, enabling us to work our way through the whole area in stages and get the job done on time.
Grinding was performed behind portable timber barriers to ensure the area remained safe for the public, staff and patients.
Quality
Our rigorous checks during the floor preparation stage identified a moisture issue and major cracking under the old flooring.
Using a combination of techniques including a new moisture control system, we were able to rectify the issue for the client to ensure a finished product that will last.
“A series of planned stages was worked out between the hospital and Hills to ensure a top quality result was achieved.
Howard and his team worked night and day to execute the project of which I can say the end result looks excellent and we expect to get a long and serviceable life from the new vinyl.”
– Nathan Linton, Project Engineer, Counties Manukau District Health Board
